I spoke too soon
This whole sick kid thing is the least fun thing I could imagine. We were on our way home from Toys R Us (using gift cards from Christmas for the girls) and Emma pukes everywhere. Seriously, what in the heck can I do? I hear it is a nasty virus that is taking like 2 weeks to get out of their system. I just really don't want Emma to be missing much more school. Please tell me winter is almost over.

finally healthy
We have finally seemed to shake the sickness here. Em has been back at school and is very happy. Arabel's fever broke and she is feeling better as well. As a celebration of recovery we took the girls to Chuck E. Cheese. I know, Chuck E. Cheese the breeding ground of sickness and germs... We sanitized our hands lots and everyone seems well. :) The girls had a blast. We ended up with a couple pictures and two very tired girls at the end of the day.
Fingers are crossed that we stay well.
We are getting last minute essentials together just in case we get snowed in later this week. We are under a winter storm watch over the next couple days. Looks like if all goes as planned, we may end up with over a foot of snow on Tuesday/Wednesday. The girls would be thrilled. I will be less than amused while shoveling over a foot of snow.
Everyone stay well and warm. :)

What we have been up to
I apologize for the lack of posting lately. We have been camped out in sicky land for the past week.
This can give you an idea of what our house has looked like. This is Emma all hunkered down on the couch. This was her spot for a solid 5-6 days.
Arabel decided to join in on the sicky fun.
Poor feverish Bellie.
I promise to update just as soon as I finish disinfecting the house.
